Quilt

I began a quilt for Abby when she moved to Lincoln to begin her Masters program. Last night, at approximately 8:30 p.m. after only 3 1/2 years, give or take, I took the last stitch in the quilt. During the time I was piecing and quilting Abby not only completed her Masters degree but also one year toward her PhD program and Leslie had not one, but two babies. That's the way it goes when you haven't joined the modern world of sewing machines and rotary cutters and still piece and quilt by hand.

I am behind by two "baby" quilts and a dolly quilt now and I'm excited to get going on those. Who knows, in another two or three years I might be posting new quilt photos.
